Cahal Pech The Cahal Pech ruins are located near San Ignacio and date back to between 650 and 900 A.D. The setting is beautiful, with tall old trees shading the main plaza. The name Cahal Pech means the "Place of the Family of Pech." The site includes seven plazas, numerous residences, temples, and a couple of ball courts. |
